As the writer of the ARGENTUM POST, which is a literary activism blog in support of peace by justice, I declare the CNN firing of Dr. Mark Lamont Hill as surreal, absurd, perverse, dishonest, and therefore as utterly intolerable.

The notion that Israel and/or the Zionism ideological racist practice cannot be critiqued on the basis of being “anti-Semitic” has never had any traction and is oxymoronically inapplicable.

This writer is the son of parents who survived the Nazi genocidal crimes against the humanity of Jews and others, and he is among millions of decent, rational, humanistic Jews, many of who are members of Jewish Voice for Peace, and the American Council for Judaism – to name a few organization – among others globally who condemn the posture of those, such as in this case CNN, who conflate solidly grounded critiques of Israel’s 70 year murderous oppression of Palestinians, with “anti-Semitism.

Kudos to Dr. Mark Lamont Hill and shame on CNN .
