First the imbecile Senator Cotton, declared that Iran is an invasive  “threat” to the neighboring countries because it has already conquered Teheran which of course is not a “neighboring country” but the capital of Iran.

And, of course for this imbecile Senator Cotton who spearheaded  the 47 Republican neocon senators to sign the letter designed to undermine President Obama’s valiant and principled devotion to peaceful conflict solution via diplomacy with, in this case, Iran, the historical fact that, unlike Israel, Iran has not invaded any other country for the last 250 years, will not get in the way of the toxic and dishonest agenda of these intellectually, ethically, and politically bankrupt Republican neocons.

Now comes Sen. Tom Cotton with another literally off-the-wall crazy and calumniating accusation against President Obama.

Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton now comes back and blasts the White House’s negotiations of the nuclear deal reached last week, comparing Secretary of State John Kerry to Pontius Pilate, the Roman judge said to have presided over the trial of Jesus Christ. […]

Cotton said that Kerry, who is appearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday to sell lawmakers on the agreement, “acted like Pontius Pilate” by not drawing a line.

This is but one example of how the Republican neocon Contras are digging themselves into a pit wherefrom they hopefully will not re-emerge via Madison avenue repackaging trickery.

Enough said.

Now, onward to the election of a genuine liberal (as compared to neoliberal) progressive candidate who will restore American democracy by first of all working to repeal the Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission horrifically misguided Supreme Court decision which opened the floodgates for the toxic pollution and erosion of the last vestiges of our participatory democracy.
