The word “Apartheid” is defined as a policy or system of segregation or discrimination on the grounds of race.

Today on March 16, 2017, Reuters reported that a U.N. agency, namely ESCWA, or the U.N. Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, that Israel is now at the stage where it is imposing an “Apartheid” regime of racial discrimination collectively on the Palestinian people.

The U.N. Under Secretary General and ESCWA Executive  Secretary Rima Khalaf declared that this report was the “first of its type” that “clearly and frankly concludes that Israel is a racist state that has established an “Apartheid” system which persecutes the Palestinian people”.

Having said this, this writer clarifies that this report while commissioned by a U.N. agency, has not yet been endorsed formally the United Nations, but according to its author, Richard Falk, a scholar of international law and international relations who in March of 2014 completed a six-year term as the U.N. Special Rapporteur on Human Rights in Occupied Palestine, as well as a Professor Emeritus of International Law and Practice at Princeton University, the U.N will probably act on this matter soon so as to bring this crime against the humanity of the Palestinian people once for all to an end.

It should also be noted that Richard Falk wrote, inter alia, the book titled “Palestine : The Legitimacy of Hope”.

Rima Khalaf declared at the event to launch the report at ESCWA’s Beirut headquarters  that ESCWA hoped the report would inform further deliberations on the root causes of the problem in the United Nations, among member states, and in society.

It should also be noted that Israel has a long track record of supporting some of most autocratic human rights violating fascist regimes in the world, and has done so most notably during the dictatorships of General Augusto Pinochet in Chile, of dictator Rios Montt in Guatemala, where Pulitzer Prize wining investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill reported on Israel’s role in the supply of armaments and helicopters in the dictatorships massive killings of entire segments of its indigenous population, as well its intellectuals, dissidents, human rights activists, and additionally in the mid 80’s Israel documentably supported the odious white supremacist Apartheid regime of South Africa whereto it proliferated its technology for the weaponization of nuclear energy, after having clandestinely developed nuclear weapons of mass destruction after a secret meeting between disgraced President Nixon and Israeli PM Golda Meir in 1969.

Since then Israel’s possession of said nuclear weapons became a “hidden in plain sight” reality, with Israel refusing to admit or not admit that it has what intelligence agencies have been long aware of, by invoking  the euphemistic and dishonest phrase “ policy of strategic ambiguity”,

Israel was not punished for its proliferation of its nuclear energy weaponization technology, since it refused to sign on to the NPT (nuclear non-proliferation treaty), in stark contrast to Iran which does not have  nuclear weapons, has signed an agreement to not acquire them, or enrich its legal uranium materials beyond the level needed for its energy generation and for its use for medical research. This thanks to the Obama and P5+1 initiative with democratically elected reformist President Rouhani of Iran nuclear agreement which the present misadministration is bizarrely, irrationally, contemptuously is considering to destroy.

A Jewish author whose Austrian parents survived the Nazi crimes against the humanity of Jews and others and wound up living in South Africa documented the supra referred to   support of Israel of the South African Apartheid regime, in his book titled “The Unspoken Alliance : Israel’s Secret Relationship With Apartheid South Africa”.  The author’s name is Sasha Polakow-Suransky.

A 28-year veteran, conscientious CIA analyst, namely Paul Pillar who retired in 2005, publicly confirmed to this writer this almost incredible relationship between Israel and the Apartheid racist regime of South Africa and went beyond by adding that the CIA was aware of the detonation of a nuclear device under water off the coast South Africa during the time Israel was involved with said racist Apartheid regime.

Paul Pillar and the CIA were aware of Israel’s proliferation of said weaponization technology and were aware of the detonation of a small nuclear device under water off the coast of Apartheid South Africa during the time Israel was involved in proliferating said technology to said racist white supremacist regime.

The event took place at the prestigious National Press Club in Washington, DC on March 7, 2014 and is part of an annual event occurring in March there.

The title of the event which was attended by some 200 hundred or more scientist, journalists, sociologists, authors, journalists, and members of the U.S. foreign service, was the “National Summit to Reassess the U.S. – Israel ‘Special’ Relationship”.

The need for a drastic reassessment of our policy with the right-wing extremist power structure of the dishonest PM misleader Benjamin Netanyahu et al, is now a must given the hypocritical double standard it is for the U.S. to provide Israel $ 10 million dollars per day, as well as to provide massive armaments to Israel and to the most horrifically autocratic state of Saudi Arabia which has been carrying out a literal massacre in Yemen, while now targeting Iran which is doing none of that, but is accused to being “influential” as it tries to protect its Shiite community in Iraq and elsewhere from the scourge of Daesh (aka ISIS) and Al Qaeda and Al Nousra, all of which are Sunni extremist.

Incidentally, on March 24, 2017 , from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, another annual conference will take place at said National Press Club.   Its title is “2017 Conference – The Israel Lobby and American Policy”.

There is a tremendously contrasting event also taking place in Washington, DC in March of 2017, and that is the annual conference of the Israel propaganda lobby AIPAC, and the featured speaker of that conference will be either  Efrain Anbar , the director of the right-wing extremist Zionist supremacist “think tank” BESA, or a representative of BESA and the subject will be (almost) incredibly BESA’s objective of urging that Daesh (aka ISIS) be partially spared so that it can be used to attack Iran.  This  of course is beyond insane, it is literally criminal.

As Daesh is now coming to the end of its existence, it is an imperative that the U.S. end its neo imperial hegemonist corporatist militarist adventurism and inaugurate a new era of constructive, humanitarian, technological, reconstructive, and healing relationship with the rest of the world, as presently under the decaying misadministration of Trump et al we are creating a nightmare scenario going forward in a way we are in reality going backwards and downwards due to incompetence, recklessness, lack of creativity, Averell Harriman type platinum diplomacy, and lack of respect for our children and grandchildren, as we are risking every day more, a catastrophic military confrontation which is utterly unnecessary with the People’s Republic of China, Russia, North Korea and others, a confrontation which may lead easily now lead to an obscene and irreversible point of no return.

Not only should the ban on entry on the basis of religion be reversed permanently, but the fear, hate, war mongering mentality, coupled to the obscene waste of financial resources on a corrupted industrial-military complex must be reversed, as former President Dwight Eisenhower strongly urged us to during his inspiring farewell speech.

We must strive to reverse as soon as possible the vandalistic cuts to badly needed social, cultural, educational, and public health programs, coupled to drastically reduce our offensive defense spending, by closing down hundreds of military bases around the world.

There is a will for this, so there is a way for this, and it we cannot afford to wait for four years to rescue ourselves from a potential calamitous doomsday scenario to move when it might be too late.

No one will attack America, we have more than it takes to defend ourselves, and since violence generates violence, we must lead by the power of example and not the example of power which emerges when we appoint ourselves unilaterally to intervene in the inner sovereign affairs of other nations, which then organize reprisal violence which in turn is met with perpetual wars which enrich the investors of the war industry.
