This is an Argentum Post News Flash Digest [ APNFD Nr. 70 ]

While returning from a fishing site, off the coast of Gaza, the world’s greatest open air prison where close to 2 million Palestinians are forcibly confined and blockaded, living under unimaginable torturous conditions,  having to put with rationed water and electricity,  Palestinian fishermen who were returning from a fishing site, were cold-bloodedly shot at by an Israeli Navy boat which killed one with a shot in the head.

The Israelis claimed they had fished “beyond an Israeli designated fishing zone”, but the fishers refuted that, and even if they had strayed from the fishing zone designated by the Israeli occupiers of Palestine, shooting and killing the fisherman is an appallingly scandalous crime, as have been all along all of the crimes committed by the Zionist power structure of Israel, which have been accurately documented by among others, such decent and scholarly non-Zionist Jews as Ilan Pappe in his book “The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine “.

The United Nations and the International Criminal Court and the rest of the world community must now more than ever to hold Israel fully accountable for its crimes against the humanity of the Palestinians, since the United States, due to the horrifically failing proto-fascist misadministration by Donald Trump and his Republican and some Democrat neocon and neolib acolytes, have lost all credibility and moral standing to be intermediaries in any genuine peace talks to bring justice to Palestinians and peace to the decent non-Zionist Jews in Israel who are now hoping that with the likely indictment of PM Netanyahu, there could evolve some kind of hope that this nightmarish international law violating Apartheid occupation of Palestine causing conflict will begin to be resolved once for all.

It must be noted that it is also appalling that the only major newspaper in Washington, DC, namely The Washington Post, deemed this major news to only be worthy to be covered by a a 9-line notice block bereft of context and measuring about 1 in. by 1.5 in.  This is a journalistic dereliction of duty to inform the American public and hence a violation of its right to be educated which is as serious as any violation of the freedom of speech.
