On 2005/07/01 The CIA approved for release an article by The Washington Post which was titled ” U.S. Forces Stood Ready to Aid ’64 Coup” – of the democratically elected popular President of Brazil, João Goulart.

The Brazilian President Lula (aka Luis Inacio da Silva)  who the head of the House Judiciary Committee, namely Henry Hyde, shamelessly and outrageously declared that the CIA should have prevented his democratic election because he was a “leftist”, has just been released from a Brazilian prison where he was fraudulently confined by a criminal conspiracy between a judge and a prosecutor, because he would have been re-elected.

Lula brought millions out of poverty, was highly popular with all sectors of Brazilian society, except the extremist right-wing decadent and immoral supporters of a 20-year dictatorship which lasted from 1964 until 1984 and which arrested dissidents, students, intellectuals, labor union organizers as well as tortured them.

We have at this time analogous destabilizing coup’s being orchestrated by Trump-inspired violent fascist power centers in Bolivia, Equador, Chile, and other nations, and all will ultimately fail and would not even materialize if they would be boycotted rather than embraced by Trump, the most obscene example being Trump’s embrace for petrodollars by weapons sales of the murderous power structure of Saudi Arabia, which is the world’s most bloodthirsty  misogynist  oppressor of its own people (an average of 1 person is executed in Saudi Arabia every other day), and now into its 4th year of destruction by bombing of the poorest nation in the Middle East, Yemen where some 80 thousand people have been literally massacred, millions are a step away from starvation.

Criminals of Saudi Arabian society have brought us 9/11, yet the neocon Cheney/Bush gang along with neolibs decided to exploit this horror by fabricating lies about Iraq and then invaded and destroyed its infrastructure, as well as the lives of our own soldiers who died by the tenths of thousands, not to mention the innocent unarmed civilians who by now number about one million, since this invasion set the stage for the evolution of the terrorism era in that region.

Israel’s Zionist power structure also has for the last 70+ years committed the most serious crimes against the humanity of the Palestinians, yet no U.S. President has threatened Israel with a total cessation of financial aid, which it now receives at the obscene rate of $ 10 million dollars per day.

So, with this foreword, the readers of the ARGENTUM POST are now presented with the calamity that Brazil is enduring partially as a result of Trump’s embrace of Bolsonaro, its ultra-right-wing, racist, misogynist, homophobic misleader which could never have come to power if Lula had not been criminally locked up.  Bolsonaro had been expelled from the army for conspiring to blow up a government building, became a mediocre and corrupt to the core insignificant politician and now that he is where he should not be, namely like Trump, in the seat of power, he is a threat to civilized Brazilian citizens who dare to criticize him.

The infra noteworthy interview of the brilliant and courageous Valeska Teixeira Martins, Lula’s defense lawyer and author of the book ” The Case of Lula: The Battle for Affirmation of Human Rights in Brazil” is one which took place 20 hours ago, with Ms. Martins in São Paulo, Brazil and her interviewer who goes where the corporatized media does not, the sharp, focused, principled and courageous Afshin Rattansi in London.
