The Scandalous Release of the 30-Year Violent Dictator of Egypt Hosni Mubarak and Hillary Clinton’s Friendly Relationship With Him

On March 4, 2017 The Washington Post published a good article written by Sudarasan Raghavan and Heba Mahfouz titled “Egypt’s Mubarak Might Soon Go Free”
The reporters correctly and laudably deplore this scandalous release the 30-year long violent and murderous dictator of Egypt who had his opponents killed, such as those who protested peacefully against his violent repression during the Arab Spring in Cairo.
The Washington Post however should also report to its readers that just as scandalous, and almost incredible, is the attitude of former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, who (obviously documentably ) is on record as declaring the following “ I really consider “President” Mubarak to be friends of my family ”.
There is simply no excuse for a U.S. Secretary of State to make such a statement which is a grotesque insult to the democracy aspiring victims of Mubarak’s murderous autocratic oppression, and this statement was obviously deemed by Hillary Clinton to be “politically expedient” and not her ignorance of a very well known reality, since anyone with just a cursory awareness of Mubarak’s repressiveness knows how horrific this contemptible dictator was.
Of course, anyone who has basic historical awareness of how Hillary Clinton would find a way to condone democracy crashing criminals can turn to her decision in 2009 to prevail on President Obama that the midnight abduction of the democratically elected popular and progressive President Zelaya would not be characterized as a “coup”, even though it was nothing but a “coup” of U.S.-trained assassins who, inter alia, assassinated the human rights and environmental rights legendary Berta Careers.
From the prestigious investigative journalism organization Global Research we learned the following :
“ The US military presence in Honduras, that occupies the Soto Cano (Palmerola) military base, authorised the coup d’etat through its tacit complicity and refusal to withdraw its support of the Honduran military involved in the coup. The US ambassador in Tegucigalpa, Hugo Llorens, coordinated the removal from power of President Manuel Zelaya, together with Assistant Secretary of State Thomas Shannon y John Negroponte, who presently works as an advisor to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. ”
It takes a literally sociopathic perspective and mindset to engage in acts which involve coddling murderous dictators and supporting the overthrow of democracies while at the same time preaching democracy and respect for human rights, but sadly there has been an abundance of documented history in our foreign policy when it comes to individual politicians and entire government decisions to stoop to such lowly and spurious activities.
Millions of voters who have been aware of the dark side of the hawkish, hegemony seeking, neoliberal team which Hillary Clinton has been a veteran member of, and who supported the war on Iraq of the basis of brazen falsehoods, and then to boot dishonestly claimed to not have known what was well-known nationally and internationally about said falsehoods , could not bring themselves to vote for her nomination, and once she and the DNC misleader, Hillary’s close friend Debbie Wasserman Schultz, sabotaged the nomination of the genuinely progressive Bernie Sanders, wound up on the basis of their conscience either not voting for Hillary Clinton for President or voted for the Green Party progressive Jill Stein.
There is no question that if the neoliberal establishment and the DNC had been ethical and honest, Bernie Sanders would have won the nomination and Trump would not have had a chance to enter the White House.
The result of course is the Donald Trump election disaster even though, on the basis of the authentic democratic vote, Trump lost by 11 million votes, but this again is the fault of another disaster, namely the lack of initiatives for electoral reform to put the Electoral Vote into a museum, and the urgent need for the inception of an Instant Runoff Vote (IRV) system which would allow to vote for Dr. Jill Stein and designate Clinton as the recipient of their vote should Stein fail to win a majority.
Bottom line is, it was the abject failure of Hillary Clinton which caused the disastrous election of Donald Trump, and it is the height of hypocrisy to blame the voters who would not and could not vote for either Clinton or Trump. Both are frivolous as to the loss of innocent lives, as Hillary Clinton’s track record documents it, and as Trump has now already shown it with his orders to start bombing the poorest of the poor nation of Yemen, in contradiction to his own declaration that he would not intervene in the internal conflicts of other nations, although in the Yemen case it has also been all along a U.S. / Saudi Arabian barbaric bombing which has left some 10 thousand people dead and millions refugees in their own country.
It is bizarrely strange and reprehensible to use the term “recovery of religious freedom” invoked to allow business to deny services to GLBT, or to allow clinics or hospitals to deny early term abortions, by ideologues of the Trump administration who want to allow the sale and concealed possession of human killing machines to all, without background checks, and by neolib and neocon ideologues who do not end once for all our neo-imperial quest for hegemony by dangerously threatening and provoking those who are falsely called a “threat” such as Russia, China, Iran particularly when in reality they are or at “worst” emerging commercial and industrial powers with which the U.S. must live and negotiate rather than wind up in a most globally lethal war of words and threats, on the basis of the false notion of that somehow the myth of “exceptionalism” which is one which Israel’s Zionst right-wing supremacist power structure is also guilty of, as we and Israel’s said power structure deliriously assume that such a myth constitutes a free pass, to trespass in brazen violation of international fundamental rules of civilized governance and respect for human life and for the sovereignty of those nations we abuse, instead of engaging with constructively and and diplomatically.
Ah, yes! What is that saying about a leopard never changing its’ spots?
And how about Michelle O. and her affinity for George W. Bush?
