This is an Argentum Post News Flash Digest  [ APFND Nr. 71]

In a previous article titled  “ A Candid Announcement By The Writer and a Three Item Foreword + Documentation Exposure Ignored as Usually By the MSM “ published on March 31, 2018, the this writer of the Argentum Post announced his need to begin to stay focused on his current high priority endeavour which is to temporarily submit to procedures and therapies designed to eliminate a curable cancer which was diagnosed on March 6, 2018.

This however does not preclude that on some occasions when an extraordinary reason to write and publish succinctly an important article, an exception will be made to this proposition.

Well, the extraordinary exception to this proposal  happens to be an extraordinarily upright, professional, principled, courageous, former FBI Director, namely James B. Comey.

Since the days when right-wing extremist Attorney General  John Ashcroft bizarrely ordered the cover-up of two statues of the Spirit of Justicein the Great Hall of the Department of Justice in 2002, coupled to his decision in 2001 to expedite the execution of the American terrorist McVeigh who blew up the Oklahoma Court House killing some 148 innocent Americans, an act which prevented an in-depth investigation of McVeigh’s associatesin this crime against the humanity of Americans, Americans have been denied the truth about this horrific crime by a terrorist who belonged to the National Alliance which the prestigious Southern Poverty Law Center has for decades characterized as the most dangerous and best organized neo-Nazi organization.

With this preface therefore, we fast forward to the day in 2004 when Attorney John Ashcroft was in a hospital in poor health and members of the dishonest to the core Cheney/Bush junta who took America to its most disastrous war on Iraq in 2003, a war which destabilized the whole Middle East and destroyed Iraq and the lives of millions of Iraqis and tenths of thousands of American soldiers, attempted to get Ashcroft to reauthorize the deadline of the infamous and criminal NSA mass surveillance program which was code-named “Stellar Wind”,  program which was considered unconstitutional.

This event provoked a confrontation between the highly dedicated and professional FBI director James B. Comey and the Cheney/Bush junta of thuggish liars, to the point that Cheney had the audacity to hysterically and falsely accuse the heroic FBI Director Comey of “…recklessly  producing another 9/11…” if the prevailed in his solidly grounded  position that said program could not be reauthorized.

Fast forward to the present, when another right-wing, incompetent, ethically and intellectually inept, right-wing misleader of America is relentlessly generating grotesquely and obscenely false accusations against the heroic former Director the FBI, James B. Comey, at a time when said  inept misleader, namely Donald Trump, has not only documentably stepped over many  red lines, but in fact stepped over that double-red line which clearly establishes that he is now a 25th Amendment, Section 4case, and therefore must be removed from office.

Section 4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Thereafter, when the President transmits to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives his written declaration that no inability exists, he shall resume the powers and duties of his office unless the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive department or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit within four days to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office. Thereupon Congress shall decide the issue, assembling within forty-eight hours for that purpose if not in session. If the Congress, within twenty-one days after receipt of the latter written declaration, or, if Congress is not in session, within twenty-one days after Congress is required to assemble, determines by two-thirds vote of both Houses that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall continue to discharge the same as Acting President; otherwise, the President shall resume the powers and duties of his office.^[3]

Last but not least reason for this article is a gem of an article by James Hohmann of The Washington Post published today, April 17, 2013, titled :

Comey’s Battles With Bush Prepared Him to Resist Trump

This article is a must-read, as it fully reflects the integrity, sense of responsibility, and selfless courage, which the honorable former FBI Director has had throughout his memorable career.

“We the people” owe Mr. Comey tremendous gratitude for his unshakeable commitment to our national security, and to the respect of our Constitutional democracy, and to the highest integrity respect for democratic law enforcement and justice implementation as well as “ethical leadership” which has all but disappeared from the executive branch as well as  from the Congressional House and Senate.

And furthermore, Mr. Comey commendably belongs to that class of  law enforcement officials who call for all public servants to be not just “politicians” , but to be solidly grounded on principles which call for them to be as well philosophers, who value statesmanship based on genuine diplomacy, and a humility which is reflected in that they were elected by “we the people” to serve via a process grounded foundationally on Constitutionally “representative and transparent democracy” which is must make America be all it can be for its working people who are fed up with the waste of trillions of dollars and human lives by never ending wars at the expense of the badly needed universal single payer public health care, affordable public college education, infrasture maintenance, and public transportation modernization system – inter alia.
