There has been a woeful dearth of educational information in the mainstream media and in the major educational institutions in the United States about the historical reality of the Palestinian people and about their 70 year horrific repression since Israel was created in 1948.
This project at long last, will contribute in a major way to end this major negligence to inform and educate objectively the American public and has the potential to thereby contribute to in a major and significant way to a just and peaceful resolution of the conflict generated by the way Israel was created and subsequently by the way its territory was robbed from them as Israel started to hegemonically invade and annex Palestinian territory since 1967 by international law, Geneva Convention, and UN Resolutions egregious violations with thus far, total impunity.
Palestinians refugees and their descendants have a right to return to their land and have a right to have their dignity respected and their quest for freedom and democracy realized. This is not only valid for the sake of the Palestinian people but for the sake of peace, harmony, prosperity, security of Jews in Palestine as well as for the ending of the destabilization and destructive violence throughout the Middle East.
What a wonderful project! Thanks for sharing this good news and for your support of the Museum of the Palestinian people.
