While Trump approves to sell secret nuclear technology to the Saudi Arabian dictator Bin Salman who the CIA determined to have ordered the brutal assassination of the U.S. based democracy advocate Jamal Khashoggi,  and who has been bombing barbarically with U.S. support the poorest nation of the Middle East, namely Yemen, he (Trump) and  the PM of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, who the Attorney General of Israel declared is about to be indicted for a variety of corruption crimes, are rejoicing his apparent electoral victory after he announced prior to the election, that if elected, he would annex the West Bank settlements, in brazen violation of international law, just as Netanyahu received Trump’s blessings for his recently annexed territory of the Golan Heights, all of which Israel invaded and occupied after it started the “6-Day War” in 1967.

This meltdown of integrity, ethics, the rule of national and international laws, international law enforcement, honesty, and human compassion is brazenly exposing the putrefaction of the now Apartheid fascist so-called “nation-state” of Jews exclusively, without any consequences thus far.

To add insult to injury, it seems that the entire foreign “policy” (if one may call it that) of the U.S. is based on threats of sanctions, of tariffs, of military action, against nations which do not constitute any threat to the U.S. such as Nicaragua, Cuba, Venezuela, China, Russia, North Korea and Iran which had signed on and is abiding by the the P5+1 nuclear agreement negotiated successfully by John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and others, only to be literally vandalized by Trump’s reneging on it, in his irrational anti-Iran hysterical accusation bereft of substance such as his recent decision to classify Iran elite military force called the Iran Revolutionary Guards, as a terrorist organization.

These threats are now issued on an almost daily basis by such ignorant, arrogant, malevolent members of Trump’s cabinet such as Mike Pompeo, John Bolton, and ex-convict for lying to Congress, Elliot Abrams.

To add insult to injury, anyone who now dares to rightfully criticise the destructive path the now odious Apartheid regime of the fascist power structure of Israel is taking not only in its support and sale of armaments to nations in the Middle East run by brutal despots, such as  those run by right-wing decadent autocratic fascists as Al Sissi of Egypt who has killed thousands of former supporters of the only democratic leader Egypt ever had, namely that of Morzi, and who has now managed to assume dictatorial powers and will remain in power until 2034 (he just visited Trump in the White House), as that of Jair Bolsonaro of Brazil who surfed to power by the perfect storm wave of judicial corruption and who praises the military dictatorship era of 1964-1984., as that of the regime of  Dutterte of the Philipines who has empowered police to shoot to kill “suspects” on the streets,  and right-wing organizations or institutions, as well as individuals, such as dissidents including millions of  decent, humanistic anti – fascist Jews in Israel and world-wide, ALL are for such criticism smeared with the racist epithet of  “anti-Semite“.

In reality, these mostly Israeli fascist members of Israel’s power structure misuse intentionally this insulting epithet to hide behind it their nefarious organized crime-like agendas of hegemonic supremacy.

This demagogic misuse of the calumniation term “anti-Semite” is feeble-mindedly utterly inoperable as it in effect is oxymoronic.

What is not oxymoronic though is that these extremist such as Benjamin Netanyahu, or Avigdor Lieberman (who declared that Palestinians should be decapitated), and who declared outrageously indecently,  that criticism by Jews of people of Jewish background, such as that of this writer of the ARGENTUM POST who is the son of parents who survived the Nazi genocide against Jews and others, are “anti-Semites” are themselves really functioning as  “anti-Semites” in their invective of repulsive attacks on these noble Jews or people of Jewish background.

There is a dearth of genuine historical awareness which has kept ignorance alive for 100 years of the manipulative distortion of Jewish authentic history by a relative minority of Western colonial powers financially, politically, and military empowered right-wing extremist fascist Zionists who have served to this day the nefarious and criminal objectives of Western imperial powers, most particularly those of the Anglo-American alliance as well as those of France.

The corporate mainstream media’s suppression of real history in synergy with the failure of the public and private educational lower and higher level teaching of objective history are to be mostly blamed for their dereliction of duty of performing their educational responsibilities professionally.

This article which was meant to be succinct is now brought to its conclusion by presenting its readers with two relevant and revealing presentations by highly respected, academic members of the Judaic community.

CONFRONTING NETANYAHU’S OPENLY RACIST
RE-ELECTION CAMPAIGN

There is no other word to describe Benjamin Netanyahu’s re-election campaign than “racist.”  That is the term being widely used in Israel to describe it.Barak Ravid,  the senior diplomatic reporter for the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, declared:  “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been spending much of his time making sure a racist,xenophobic, ultra-right wing fringe party, which is the Israeli version of David Duke, passes the election threshold and makes it into the Knesset.”Mr,Netanyahu has allied himself with the Otzma Yehudit party, the successor to Meir Kahane’s Kach party, which was outlawed as racist and terrorist.  The Otzma Yehudit platform calls for annexing the occupied territories, rejecting a Palestinian state, expelling Palestinians and, reminiscent of the Nuremberg laws, outlawing marriage—-and sexual relations between Jews and non-Jews.  Rabbi Benny Lau of Jerusalem,  a pillar of religious Zionism in Israel,compares Otzma Yehudit to Nazism.The growth of racism and religious extremism has been steadily growing in Israel. Baruch Goldstein, a follower of Meir Kahane who immigrated to Israel from the U.S., murdered 29 Muslims at prayer in the Ibrahim Mosque in Hebron in 1994,  At his funeral,Rabbi Yaacov Perrin declared:  “Even one million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail.”  Ovadia Yosef, Israel’s Sephardic Chief Rabbi said in 2010 that, “The sole purpose of non-Jews is to serve Jews.  They have no place in the world.”Yitzhak Ginsburg, a rabbi who runs a yeshiva in the West Bank,reminds his followers that, “Something is special about Jewish DNA.  If a Jew needs a liver, can you take the liver of an innocent non-Jew passing by to save him?  The Torah would probably permit that. Jewish life has an infinite value.”   Sadly, we could fill pages with similar sentiments.

Prime Minister Netanyahu’s attacks upon Arabs have become so extreme in the current campaign that a popular Israeli television host, Rotem Sela, took him to task, writing that “the Arabs are also human beings,” that “all people are born equal” and that “this is a country of all its citizens.”

Mr. Netanyahu responded with a new affront, saying that, in fact, Israel was not  a state of all its citizens,  He declared——despite that fact that more than 20 per cent of Israel’s population is not Jewish——“Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people,and not anyone else.” A day later he said that Israel’s Arab citizens “have 22 nation-states around them and they do not need another.”

In Netanyahu’s view, not only are non-Jews,despite their citizenship, not part of Israel’s “nation-state,” but citizens of the U.S., France,the United Kingdom and other countries who are Jewish by religion are really Israelis in “exile.”  No other country in the world claims to be the “homeland” or “nation-state” of millions of citizens of other countries—-because of their religious faith.

It is not widely known in the U.S., but in recent years, religious fundamentalism and racism have come to dominate some sectors of Israeli society.  To Israeli author Amos Oz, these extremists were “rude, smug and arrogant, power-drunk, bursting with messianic rhetoric, ethnocentric, quite simply inhuman and un-Jewish.”

Former Knesset member and peace activist Uri Avnery described the extremist forces as “religious cranks”. He provided this assessment:  “Their declared aim…is to drive all the Arabs out of the country that God promised us.The settlements have grown like locusts.  Every settlement has slowly stolen the lands and water of the neighboring Palestinian villages, uprooted their trees,blocked their roads and built new roads barred to Palestinians,,,Almost all the settlements have spawned satellite outposts on nearby hills.”

In their book “Jewish Fundamentalism In Israel,” Israel Shahak and Norton Mezvinsky  point to “the similarities between the Jewish political messianic trend and German Nazism which are glaring.  The Gentiles are for the messianists what the Jews were for the Nazis.”

Violence by Israeli settlers is growing.  In February, the mosque in the town of Deir Dirwan, in the occupied West Bank, was vandalized with a Star of David painted on the exterior.  The incident was one in a spate of attacks  that are blamed on Israeli settlers.  Israel’s security agency, Shin Bet, documented 295 of what it calls “Jewish terror” incidents last year, a 40 per cent increase.

American Jewish groups have widely condemned the embrace of Otzma Yehudit.  This condemnation of racism has come not  just from liberal groups such as J Street and Jewish Voice  for Peace, but from such establishment groups as the American Jewish Committee and the Anti-Defamation League.  An open alliance with racism was even too much for AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobbying group.

Many Israelis lament their country’s drift away from democracy, religious freedom and the humane Jewish tradition, which holds that men and women of every race and nation are created in the image of God.  They hope that in the April  election racism will be defeated.

Our own country has a tradition of not interfering in the elections of other countries,  Why, in the midst of Israel’s election campaign, was Secretary of State Pompeo in Jerusalem accompanying Mr. Netanyahu to a photo-op at the Western wall?  And why has Mr. Netanyahu been invited to the White House next week?

As Mr. Netanyahu’s open embrace of racism is being challenged in Israel, is it too much to ask that our own president at least be neutral?  Evidently, it is.
