This is a complementary sequel to the ARGENTUM POST article published yesterday, April 13, 2019 which is titled “Exposing Crime Cannot Be a Crime: Julian Assange Is A Journalist, Publisher, and Whistleblower Who is Persecuted by Right-Wing Extremist Elites for Safeguarding the Public’s Right to be Truthfully Informed“.
The sequel is of interest because it further elaborates on the injustice meted out on Julian Assange who, in a breakdown of the rule of law, is now facing the illegal extradition to the U.S. apparently additionally motivated by corruption in the present Ecuadorian government of Moreno who has agreed to invite the British police to forcibly evict the innocent whistleblower in exchange of a loan of some $4.2 billion dollars financing deal from the IMF, according to Reuters February 20, 2019 article.
The extradition of Julian Assange would be tantamount to leading him to a judicial lynching and must be resisted by worldwide protests in support of the freedom of speech and of the press to inform and expose the crimes of elites who deem themselves above the law.
Incidentally, one example of this scandalous phenomenon is the US revoking of the visa of the International Criminal Court prosecutor to come to the UN.
With this brief foreword, the ARGENTUM POST presents infra a video of a conversation between the host of “On Contact“, namely the illustrious scholar Chris Hedges and the historian Vijay Prashad who further shed light on this attempt to silence voices which are essential to guard our Constitutional Democracy at this time of savage assaults on it.
