This is an ARGENTUM POST News Flash Digest (APNFD Nr.128)

The Argentum Post publishes information which the mainstream media deliberately avoids given coverage to.   This is a professional and moral dereliction of duty on its part since just as the American public has a right to the freedom of speech Constitutional guarantee, it also has a right to be accurately, precisely, and comprehensively informed.

So, in accordance with this reality, the ARGENTUM POST is disseminating infra, an article in which the prestigious organization “The Jerusalem Fund for Education & Community Development” periodically publishes articles as regards the horrific oppression the people of Palestine have had to endure for the last 72 years.

It is noteworthy that to its credit, Georgetown University hosts the prestigious “The Center for Contemporary Arab Studies” which the only academic center in the United States focusing exclusively on the Arab world.  It has has been doing so since 1975.

There is woeful and outright scandalous lack of education of the American people about this subject matter, due in part to the undue influence of the Israel Propaganda Lobby AIPAC which is in violation of FARA (Foreign Agent Registration Act).

The very prestigious American Counsel for Judaism has recently in its publication “Issues” characterized AIPAC as a “hate organization”.]

So, with this brief foreword, the ARGENTUM POST presents its readers infra,  with a succinct article the Jerusalem Fund/Palestine Center in Foggy Bottom has published.

BTW, on a weekly basis, this organization distributes articles it believes will enhance understanding of the Palestinian political reality.

“In recent weeks, media reports spoke of secret lists Israel was compiling of military and intelligence officials who might be arrested when they traveled abroad if the International Criminal Court (ICC) decided to investigate war crimes in the occupied Palestinian territory (OPT). In fact, in just the five years since the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC) opened her preliminary examination into possible war crimes in the OPT, the Israeli army has killed more than 700 Palestinians and injured tens of thousands.

These deaths and injuries were not isolated incidents but were part of a broader policy that seeks to suppress Palestinian resistance to the colonization of their land. As a consequence of Israeli land theft, its illegal settlements, and the transfer of its citizens to the OPT, Palestinian families have been divided, faced arbitrary detention, placed under siege, and denied freedom of movement amongst many other cases of abuse.

Thus, a strong prima facie case can be made that Israel is guilty of crimes against humanity and war crimes and this perhaps helps to explain why it has been unwilling to enquire further into the complaints and files in its possession. The ICC is established on the principle of complementarity, which means it is only entitled to exercise jurisdiction when national legal systems fail to do so in line with international standards.”
