The wise and principled warning to the American people by indefaticable, bright, spunky, courageous and compassionate Medea Benjamin of co-founder of Code Pink to strongly oppose Biden’s consideration for the nomination of Antony Blinken for Secretary of State and of Michèle Flournoy for Secretary of Defense is to be highly commended as it an imperative that both of these candidates be strongly opposed as they would represent from the beginning a major regressive criterion adoption for key positions in our final victory against the most disastrous and destructive presidential election in history.

Amy Goodman, the founder, and host of Democracy Now, also deserves credit for bringing this reality to the attention of the American people.

Antony Blinken and Michèle are linked a the secretive consulting firm that could become Biden’s cabinet, namely Westec Advisors!

While the ARGENTUM POST is essentially a progressive literary activism by the advocacy of peace by social and economic justice, and hence equality, blog and not necessarily a “political” blog, it posits that it would be preposterous that in this new era of the scourge of the COVID virus in synergy with the unemployment crisis, the absence of a public universal care crisis, the non-existence of support of families who are about to be evicted from their homes, the non-existence of free or affordable public university crisis, and the general decay of integrity and honesty on a bipartisan basis, the prohibitive undue influence of the big pharma complex, and of the corrupt industrial-military complex, and this coupled to our utterly provocative, wasteful, close to 800 military installations abroad and military imperialistic interventionism abroad, all of which siphoning trillions if not quadrillions of funds of our taxpayers’ hard-earned incomes, that we would be betrayed and prevented to do embrace a progressivist healing and rebuilding era of the kind our Canadian neighbors or Australia, or New Zeland, or most of the European social democracies enjoy.

But notwithstanding this major step backward by advocates of the “come back of an America that leads the world ” (?!) in contrast to an America that inspires the world not by its power of the example to  “lead” by the by the power of its example to inspire, is now a potentially catastrophic possibility notwithstanding our celebration of our liberation of the most unpresidential so-called “President” Trump.

We did not finally come all this way to go back to the horrific ways it was in the recent era of neocon and neolib support of regime changes on the specious if not outright fraudulently and therefore criminally misleading grounds comprising the brainwashing by the corporatized media in collusion with the callous disregard of honest reality by both parties.

Added to that is the toxic dishonesty of special interest groups and lobbies, most particularly the AIPAC lobby which is in violation of the FARA law by not registering as a foreign agent.

So, as a result a “nation” was invented and created which resulted in the violent implantation supported by imperial Britain in Palestine in which noble Thorah abiding universalist values of the Palestinians of the Jewish faith made up 6% of the population and were living in peace with Christians and Moslems and secular,  and hence a synthetic, invasive pseudo-state was formed which even before the partition of Palestine 1948 has had to serve colonial/imperialism interests by the. use or rather misuse of the Zionist racist, corrupt, hegemonic ideology of destabilization, by fear, and hate-mongering and criminal punishment of protesters.

Since then, and more since 1967, “Israel” became an entity which was depending on the U.S. for such egregiously criminal activity to the point that to this day it receives $10.1 million dollars per day from our taxpayers’ funds in its quest to perpetuate its crimes against the humanity of the Palestinians and even against the humanity of the countries of ruled by murderous dictators in South America by selling it weapons.

So, fast forward to the present, we need to nip in the budding stage any nominations which regress us to an era that must now be entering a new stage of modern progressivism with no more interventionistic regime changes, since this is what our victory over Trump and the vast support he received from its unprincipled coward and/or corrupt congressional supporters.

We cannot but impose respect for our limited choice in this election and prevent at all cost the nomination of all politicians such as those like Antony Bliken and Michèle Flournoy would take us back to this nightmarish era of the lunacy of world dominion and control at all costs.

No more usage of the mythological “exceptionalism” word.  No nation in the world is exceptionalist.  There is no such thing as exceptionalism.

No more criminal wars such as the one raging now it is 5th year destroying the world’s poorest nation, Yemen, by the teaming up the criminal misleaders of Saudi Arabia – Bin Salman, of the U.S.- Donald Trump, and of the already convicted to be tried misleader of the Zionist power structure of Israel, namely Benjamin Netanyahu.

No more racism, supremacy, misogyny, homophobia, nepotism, xenophobia, Russophobia, Sinophobia, and calumniation and targeting for sanctions terrorism against nations whose people we want to overthrow their government such as Iran, Venezuela, Bolivia, Ecuador, Cuba, and more.

Constructive engagement is a way for us to survive.

Ending the violation of the NPT Treaty, article 6, which stipulated the total nuclear disarmament is a way for us to survive or to hope that our offspring will survive.

Genuinely participative democracy with IRV (Instant Runoff Voting) for the inception of a 3rd party, the elimination of the museum relic, namely the Electoral College, and NEVER AGAIN an Apartheid Nation such as South Africa was and which, BTW, was supported by Israel which started to develop and tested in it the assembly of a nuclear bomb.

PS A needed clarification.

The writer of this article’s reference to Israel is under no circumstance an “anti-Semitic” statement.    He is a descendant of parents who survived the Nazi genocidal crimes against the Jews and many others.  He is an active and contributing member of progressive, noble, humanistic, Jewish organizations such as Jewish Voice for Peace, The  American Council for Judaism, and several others.    Judaism has been severely damaged by the Zionist racist ideology.  Judaism and Zionism or Evangelism and Zionism cannot be conflated.  Both were abused and at times even killed by Zionists in Israel who did not want to obey the Zionist mandate to them which was the same as that to the autochthonous Palestinian, namely “obey, abide, or die“.  And to this day the world takes no action to end this obscenity.
