This is an ARGENTUM POST News Flash Digest [ APNFD Nr. 83 ]

On September 2, 2018 the ARGENTUM POST published an article titled “This September First and Labor Day Can and Must be Celebrated and Marked by a Paradigm Shift : No Longer Will Organized Crime Elites Thwart the Movement to Restoration of Progressive Participative Democracy Which ‘We the People’ Demand and Deserve NOW“.

In the relevant paragraph of the said article the following was stated:

(3) Myanmar (aka Burma) has and continues to commit analogous crimes against its Rohingya population as the Zionist Israeli governments have committed for the last 70 years against the Palestinians.

Seven hundred thousand Rohingyas were expelled from their homes and forced into Bangladesh, thousands have been killed, and their homes have been destroyed.  To add insult to injury, the misleaders of Myanmar, among who many are hard-core racist Burma Buddhists, have thus far gotten away with this crime against the humanity of the Rohingya while their country’s President Aung San Suu Kyi retains bizarrely a Nobel Peace Prize which she still has not been forced to return, and to boot she has been totally silent as if these crimes never occurred.  This can only remind one of the statement by the former PM of Israel, namely Golda Meir, that ” there is no such thing as Palestine ” echoing the other obscenely dishonest Zionist slogans about Palestine being ” A land without a people for a people without land “.

Shamelessly the Trump misadministration is just as silent as Aung San Suu Kyi and bizarrely thought that he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize when in reality if there is one which can be awarded in the future it would be to the leaders of South and North Korea if the peace process evolves further.”

To this, today on September 15, 2018, the following must be added:

President Aung San Suu Kyi has now doubled down on her hypocrisy and added insult to injury, by “blessing” the jailing of two journalists who reported on one of the massacres of the autochthonous Rohingya natives Myanmar (aka Burma), and this means that she must be forced to resign, and along with the rest of Myanamar’s government’s power structure responsible for this and other crimes and that includes top Buddhist leaders must be held  accountable for their crimes against the humanity of the Rohingya by being indicted, tried and sentenced by the International Criminal Court (ICC).

Furthermore, the Oslo-based Nobel Prize Committee judges must now immediately rescind its Nobel Peace Prize to this/these misleader(s) who (a) first denied such massacres were taking place, (b) then minimized these genocidal mass killings of men, women, and children, and (c) now to boot had the temerity to “bless” (term used by The Washington Post op-ed editorial of 09/15/2018) the jailing of two principled, courageous journalists who brought this crime against the humanity of the Rohingya to the attention of the world.

absent this move, the Nobel Prize committee of judges will risk loosing credibility and respect needed for them to be functional and effective

The Washington Post is to be commended for its editorial and must be furthermore encouraged now to once for all urge the International Criminal Court (ICC) to accelerate its investigations of the analogous massive crimes against the humanity by the Zionist power structure of Israel against the autochthonous Palestinians for some 70 years, as well as the U.S. crimes by complicity by being the financial, military, and political enabler of said crimes in Palestine,  as well by its politicians crimes who are in effect the perpetrators of similar crimes in Afghanistan and Iraq, the latter of which was invaded on the basis of fraudulently concocted grounds which resulted in the death of millions of Arabs and tenth of thousands of our soldiers for no discernible reason.

It seems that now the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres,  is finally becoming pro-active in his duties to see to it that the ICC carry out its obligations to enforce international law, something which Trump’s extremely right-wing National Security adviser John Bolton has used to publicly issue bizarrely irrational, disgusting, and sanctions threatening words against all judges of the ICC as if they had no standing to enforce said international law which 123 countries of the world approved, and as if, there exists such a characterization in legal theory as “exceptionalist” nations which somehow are immune to said laws, namely nations which are above the foundational elements of civilized societies and thus can do whatever they please in their hegemonic belligerent pursuits such as most particularly the Zionist power structure of Israel assumes as it has been since 1948 and then more so, since 1967, violated international law and is now on a weekly basis, targeting for assassination hundreds of innocent, unarmed, peaceful demonstrators, by shooting t o death hundreds and maiming by shooting thousands from a fence as they demonstrate for their freedom, democracy, and right of return to their homes, in the largest concentration camp in history which Gaza is now with its 2.2 million inmates and within which they live a torturous life with severe limitations of electricity, sewage, and medical facilities.

The leaders of the power structures of Saudi Arabian in their massacres in Yemen and of the Duterte murderous assassinations in the Philippines must also be now held totally accountable by the ICC, particularly as said murderous strongman was first invited by Trump to the White House and is now being invited by the Israeli PM Netanyahu (who along with his wife has been under police investigation for a several internal crimes) and who, incredibly is eager to sell this mass murder Duterte armaments.

More than ever, the progressive movements in the world need to unite to end mass violence, proliferation of nuclear weapons, and restoration of honesty and humanist ethics.

Similarly the mass verbal violence on non-existent grounds against Russia and Putin is an aberration which must end, as it clearly is meant to instil unfounded fears in synergy with unfounded hate, to galvanize the masses to accept a permanent state of war at the cost of our social programs, our public health rights, our affordable higher education rights, and our infrastructure maintenance, and eventually our national security since this sociopathic path by our neocon and neoliberal misleaders is leading us straight down the spiral of nuclear war with Russia and China, a war that cannot ever be won, and one that most probably will usher in the end of humanity.

PS The Washington Post September 15, 2018 op-ed is titled ” A Fall From Grace in Myanmar : Aung San Suu Kyi Blesses The Jailing of Journalists Who Brought A Massacre To Light
